There are ruins of a church, a rock tomb, and a Roman bath in the ancient area. The area is in an important location as it is one of the rare ancient city ruins that can be seen in Karabük. The area in which the ancient city is located includes the villages of Podaklar, Buyukylar, Chaili and Petarla. It is believed that there are extensive remains of the city, especially in the village of Podaklar. When the remains are examined, it is estimated that the city was built in the Roman era. Mosaic remains obtained as a result of excavations in 2003 have an unprecedented composition in Anatolia.
