Aktchakuja Central Mosque attracts attention with its exceptional appearance, as it draws attention with its contemporary architecture, unlike mosques built with a single dome system. The mosque, whose foundations were laid in 1989 and opened for service in 2004, has a dome height of 31 meters and a height of its minaret of 58 meters. The mosque is placed on octagonal corners used in Seljuk architecture instead of the classic single roof system and has a roof system inspired by the Turkish tent. While the interior of the mosque was decorated with stained glass, 32 tons of copper panels were used in the dome coverings.
