Corum Castle, there is no information about when the castle was built, typical Seljuk architectural features were encountered. Written documents of the castle date back to 1577 AD and are presumed to belong to the Byzantine era. It is noted that cut stone, rubble stone and formations from the Roman-Byzantine period were used in its construction. One mosque and 42 residences are still standing. Corum Castle is among the oldest buildings in the city, and one of the most enjoyable places to visit.
