The school was built in 1217 by Izz al-Din Kekavus I, ruler of the Seljuk state in Anatolia. The total area of the school is 3,400 square meters. It was built as the largest hospital in Anatolia. Research and training courses in the field of medical sciences were also conducted in the school and used as a school in 1768 during the Ottoman period, in the interior of the school, the authentic cafes serve their customers today, providing peace of mind, where the tile decoration occupies an important place, there is a large swimming pool for decoration in its courtyard.
