The excavations carried out by the Archeology Department of the Faculty of Language, History and Geography of Ankara University and the archaeologists of the Nigde Museum since 1981 in Koçek Hoyuk, revealed the oldest animal husbandry and agricultural community in the country, the Bor plain. The first layer of this settlement, consisting of five layers, belongs to the Stone Age. Late modern The last layer belongs to the Early Copper Age, its diameter is 80 meters and its height is 15 meters.
