There are many churches carved into the rocks on the outskirts of the castle and also inside, and you can see the Byzantine tombs on the top of the castle. Many of the hollow rooms in the rock are connected to each other with stairs, tunnels and corridors, and at the entrances to the rooms there are sandstone doors, and due to erosion in the places of this castle, it is not possible to reach all the rooms. Most of the rooms located on the north side of the castle are used as houses for pigeons as most of these cave houses are painted white to attract birds to them.
