Hattoniya Madrasah was built in 1382 by Nafees Sultan, the wife of Mr. Alaeddin Karamanoglu. It is mentioned that the architect of the school is Numan bin Heka Ahmed, the school which was built on the plan of an open courtyard has one iwan, the rooms in which the students live are arranged in the eastern and western directions, Mostly geometric elements are included in the decoration details of the school, today the school functions as a restaurant.
