Tartan Palace was built by Haji Ahmet Effendi in 1810 and is one of the important examples of civil architecture, the building was later donated by the Tartan family to the municipality and was restored between 2005-2007. It has a central sofa plan, consisting of two floors, the lower floor of the building consists of parts that are used frequently on a daily basis, such as the kitchen and pantry, there are bedrooms upstairs. The hand-painted carvings of the building, which draw attention with their striking wooden architecture, are of particular interest to the entrance door to the palace below, as it was built with stones brought from the Bunbeir Church.
