Burgalo Ethnographic Museum, covers an area of 3,000 square meters and is home to appropriate landscapes, hiking trails, and even a waterfall. The museum was established about 40 years ago by Kemal Turmanidze, founder of a type of woodcarving called Burgallo. In the museum, the handicrafts of the Adjara region, areas related to agricultural activities, human figures and exhibits related to daily life, and typical housing examples catering to the accommodation needs of the inhabitants of the region. Nearly 4,000 objects are displayed in the museum area.
