The Church of the Virgin Mary is known as the second oldest church in the world. The house of worship is also known as the Red Church, the Jacobite Church, or the Syriac Church. It was built with dimensions of 20 x 8 meters, according to the stone slab inside. In the church, which was built in 179 AD, a festival is held with Visitors On Virgin Marys Day every August 15, this festival is also known as the Grape Festival and takes place between 09.00-12.00, restored in the years 1135, 1179 and 1262 AD.
