Oylum hill, research excavations have been going on since 1989 in the archaeological area of Oylum village. The beginning of excavations dates back to the early twentieth century, the width of the Kilis mounds is about 500 meters, and the height is 22 and 37 meters. It is stated that the history of the area in which the hills are located is estimated at 5,500 years. Many civilizations are found in the mound, which has been the focus of attention in the past due to its strategic location, there are also Hittites among the societies that have used the mound.
