The aforementioned historical region was discovered during surface surveys conducted in 1963 within the framework of the Southeastern Anatolia Region Research Project prepared in cooperation with the Universities of Istanbul and Chicago. Interesting finds such as bull, fox, stele crane, desert rat, stork, wild boar, reptile reliefs, crane, fox, snake, scorpion, sheep, lion, spider and human carved, male statues with an exaggerated penis were revealed. It was accepted as the beginning of the history of architecture with the buildings inside, the ancient cult structures in the area take the form of 10-12 T-shaped obelisks, arranged in a circular plan and surrounded by stone walls, in the center of the building there are two opposite obelisks of higher height, there are tangible and intangible symbols of people and parties such as Hands, arms, and various animals on the obelisks, both motifs were published as bas-reliefs and engravings on stones.
