Adiyaman Archaeological Museum, opened in 1978 to store and display the relics recovered from the area flooded by the Ataturk Dam. . witnessed most of the life of human history; Paleolithic hand axes and cutting and piercing tools used for hunting are on display, as well as terracotta pots from the alcoholic era, Bronze Age ornaments, and earthenware from the Roman and Islamic periods.
