Afkuli Monastery, which dates back 1,500 years, is an easily accessible place. Recent promotional activities have greatly contributed to the emergence of this historic monastery. It is believed that the church was built in the 5th or 6th century. The monastery is known to have a drinking water tank. The monastery attracts great interest by nature hikers with its wonderful landscape and nature as far as the island of Rhodes.
