Harun al-Rashid Castle was built by the Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid in 789. This historical place is located at the foot of the Amanos Mountains, the outside of the castle, is one of the 26 castles of Osmaniye, standing more than 1200 years ago, has a great view. It was worn down in various wars in the past, and it has been restored. The castle was donated to the Germanic Knights in 1236 and was taken over by the Mamluk Harunists at the end of the thirteenth century. It is considered among the important historical places, hosting 50 thousand tourists annually.
