The historic Great Mosque, is one of the buildings with two separate dates of construction. It is believed to have been built in the 13th century AD during the Anatolian Seljuk period. The mosque, which was destroyed by Shah Ismails revolution in Al-Bustan in 1507, was rebuilt according to its original form by the sultan of that period.
