Sultan Abdul Hamid Khan Mosque, the most famous and largest mosque in Kahramanmaras, is not actually a historical mosque, but with its architecture and cultural texture, it creates a feel as if it has been here hundreds of years ago. The mosque, whose construction began in 1993 and opened for worship in 2011, was built in the name of Abdul Hamid Khan, one of the last sultans of the Ottoman Empire, with 32 separate domes and 4 large minarets, with a capacity of 20,000 people.
