Culinary Museum, opened by the municipality in 2018, is one of the best examples of historical mansions in Kahramanmaras. The building, which belongs to the Ottoman era in the nineteenth century, has a monumental structure where its courtyard, rooms and balconies rise one above the other. It showcases the culinary culture, food diversity and rich recipes of the region to the smallest detail, and also hosts workshops. The recipes and tastes of the forgotten dishes are conveyed to the visitors. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, local dishes such as Tarhana soup, sour soup, carrot rice and sour carrots are served in front of the fountain in the palace courtyard for free.
