Iskenderun Maritime Museum, making the navy the great Turkish model, is the third maritime museum to be opened after Istanbul and Çanakkale. The building, which was built as a palace in 1930, was purchased by the Naval Forces Command in 1942 and used as the headquarters building and the Procurement and Inspection Committee, in 2008 it was decided to convert the building into a museum, and it was restored accordingly, and in 2009 it was opened by Admiral Metin Atak, the commander of the Navy. .
