The city of Euromos is one of the most important cities of the ancient era and the most important cities of the region after Milas. It was founded around the sixth century BC. Among its most important features, according to historians, is that it is home to half a dozen of the best preserved temples in Asia, the Temple of Zeus Labrindios. It is estimated that the structure, which has a size of 6 columns and 11 columns, dates back to the second century BC and was built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian. It is an amazing and interesting detail that all but one of these columns are still able to stand. The city walls behind the temple, the Hellenistic city walls, and the remains of a 2,000-person theater, built in the 2nd century BC, are among the important ruins in the ruins.
