The Qumush Kesen Monument, which appears among the most beautiful artifacts from antiquity, is a tomb built for an important person or a noble person in that period. There are decorations and geometric shapes bearing the characteristics of the period on the monument, which was built in the second century AD. It is considered one of the most important works of the ancient Roman era in the region. The building, which was built from large blocks of marble, is very impressive and is one of the works that has been able to be well preserved from the time it belongs to the present day. It is known that the gray shard marble blocks used were extracted from the marble quarries in Jebel Sudra.
