The Milas Museum opened its doors to visitors in 1987. The place where the building is located is a park of 1.5 acres and is located in a two-storey building. There are 11 exhibits in the museums exhibition hall, and in these exhibits important remains from the Neolithic to Roman times are presented in chronological order. The museum garden is also part of the museum and many ancient sculptures and remains are displayed in the garden. More than 5,000 archaeological and ethnographic works and inventories are on display in the museum.
