The Mausoleum and Sanctuary of Hecatomonos, refers to an older period than the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus as of the date of its construction. Although the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus is known all over the world, the Mausoleum of Hecatomonos is the predecessor of Halicarnassus with its earliest history. Information about the shrine and its history can be accessed in the building located right next to the tomb. There are also photographs and drawings related to the tomb on the premises.
