It was the first settlement in the Seljuk era in Anatolia, a wall of internal and external castles was located here. So the outer walls have completely disappeared, and traces of the inner walls remain in some areas. The Kaleici settlement began in the 11th century and was used respectively until the era of the Seljuks, the Ladik Principality, the Principality of German, the Principality of Engolari and the Ottoman Empire.
