The Gazi Suleiman Pasha Mosque (Little Hagia Sophia), built in the 6th century during the Justinian period, served as a church for 8 centuries. The minaret and the mihrab were added to the building, showing features of Byzantine architecture. We can say that the small Hagia Sophia, which does not have a dome, still resembles a church. This impressive architectural structure, which occupies an important place among the mosques of Kırklareli, is also of great value in terms of spirituality, as it is one of the 9 Hagia Sophia in Turkey.
