Pinarhisar Castle, known for its construction in the 5th century during the Byzantine period, underwent revision work during the Ottoman period and took its present form. It is believed that Cosmos Demetriades created it. You can see the remains of the fortification walls that descend into the city center. Today, the castle has been declared a Class III Protected Area and has been taken under protection.
