Ergin Bridge, with a length of 1392 meters, is among the most important historical places in Edirne. The bridge was so named because it is located on the Ergene River and between the years 1426-1448, it was built by the architect Mosli al-Din by Murad. The bridge, which has a total of 174 eyes, is 6.90 meters wide at its widest point. It has two different types of foundation, tapered and round. Cut stone was used in the construction of the bridge. The use of wooden grid technology, which absorbs energy, is one detail that shows how physically important the bridge is today. The bridge is one of the longest stone bridges in the world. This ensures that the bridge attracts great interest from tourists.
