Balkan Wars Museum, is one of 30 forts built in the late Ottoman period to defend Edirne. It was originally built from soil in the Ottoman-Russian War of 1828-1829, then its structure was strengthened due to its important position in the Ottoman-Russian War of 1877-1878. Quarry bricks were used in the stone arches of the walls, and Khorasan bricks and lime powder were used as binders. The museum consists of 14 sections. There are 4 galleries, where weapons, documents and ammunition given by local residents are displayed, 118 points and 27 thematic dolls, which include maps, photos and informational notes.
