The museum was designed by Mimar Sinan in the years 1569-1575. The large room in the garden served as a small mosque and classroom at that time. The teachers and students at the school were staying in the rooms on either side of it. The rectangular building is surrounded by a garden and inside the museum there are separate rooms where metalwork, woodwork, tiles and calligraphy are displayed. Items that have the value of historical artifacts from mosques and mosques belonging to the General Administration of Foundations; Carpets intended for religious service, items used in houses of worship such as carpets, oil lamps, prayer rugs, Ottoman tiles, calligraphy panels from mosques and surrounding mosques, Qurans, candlesticks, helices, astrolabes, platforms, cut tiles and various objects.
