The Trojan Horse, which holds a special place in Greek mythology, the Trojan horse with its famous story became one of the historical symbols of Çanakkale. It is the first major war between East and West. Because this war, which took place in 500 BC and lasted about 10 years, ended with a strategic movement like the Trojan Horse. The war, which lasted 10 years, succeeded in reaching its goal with the genius idea that came to the mind of Odysseus, the leader of the Achaeans. Finally, the city of Troy, which was besieged several times and could not be captured, fell into the hands of the Achaeans. According to Odysseus plan, the army was pretending to withdraw from the Trojan soldiers and left a large wooden horse in the area where they were withdrawing. But inside the horse is full of Achaean soldiers.
