Koprulu Mehmet Pasha Mosque, one of the historical mosques, was built in 1665. The mosque, with a very precise architecture, was built from cut stone materials. Fortunately, this historical monument, which has survived to this day from the date of its construction, exemplifies many beauties from its circular arched windows in its niche to its ornate pulpit. The mosques exquisite woodcarving art is another detail that makes it worth seeing.
