Hamidiye Mosque, is one of the works that best reflects the architectural features of the last periods of the Ottoman Empire, and was built during the Second World War. It was built between 1903-1905 at the request of Abdul Hamid. The mosque, which was built in an architectural style called neo-classical, draws attention with its square plan and red-cut stones. The mosque has one dome and two minarets. Also known as the Double Minaret Mosque.
