The bridge was built over the Sakarya River, son of Al-Fatih II. Bayazid built it in 1495. The bridge was built by Faqir Abdullah, and it has fourteen legs. The bridge, built with large stones, is 150 meters long, 1.05 meters high, and 6.5 meters wide when measured from the outside. Reflects Turkish decorative art with bridge geometry. Ruins of the Byzantine Bridge. Ruins of the destroyed bridge on the island on the northern side of Bayezid Bridge are still present today.
